Chattanooga Insight Meditation Community Meeting
Chattanooga Insight is dedicated to the teaching and practice of meditation and mindfulness in the Insight/Vipassana tradition. Informed by Buddhism and other contemplative traditions, we will explore themes such as mindfulness, insight, daily life practice and the transformative power of presence.
We generally start with a 30 minute meditation, followed by a talk or sharing of an aspect of the teachings and practice, and ending with some time for Q&A/discussion. Occasionally, some evenings may also emphasize silent practice, guided meditations or reflections, small group interactions or other activities, depending on who is facilitating the evening.
